MS386FRQ industrial controller (24V) is designed to control the operation of screw compressors, equipped with an inverter (frequency converter).

MS386FRQ has implemented PID algorithm that controls voltage of the inverter within range of 0-10 VDC. The accuracy of calculations and processing of high resolution DAC converter (12 bit) ensure smooth and precise engine speed change. This results in maintaining a constant pressure at a given level and the electricity savings of up to 40% compared to conventional control. Additionally reduces consumption of a compressor engine.

MS386FRQ enables the measurement and control using:

  • a pressure sensor in a standard 4-20mA
  • temperature sensors: oil, air and motor
  • control of digital 24VDC standard sensors, including standby inverter line

MS386FRQ - protection against: 

  • motor overheating
  • breakdowns of sensors
  • exceeding the maximum number of starts per hour engine
  • power outages
  • power surges and electromagnetic interference within the allowable range 

MS386FRQ - menus and functions: 

  • Configurable parameters of the compressor with the division on service's and user's
  • Reading the settings and current values ??of sensors in the next menu on the display
  • Selection of operating mode (automatic, continuous, remote)
  • 7 LEDs informing about the current state of the compressor
  • Setting the operating pressure, deviation and critical pressure
  • Indication of errors and events, and view the history of last 15 faults
  • Service Counters (for worn elements) and the work counters
  • Control of the heater or dryer with drying time setting
  • Fan control based on temperature sensor value
  • A compressor restart after power failure
  • Work scheduling
  • Option of remote control of the compressor operation by a master controller (REM)
  • Option of controlling slave compressor equipped with a controller with a remote control line (REM)
  • Communication with PC (Modbus RTU) - visualization system
